Call for Atlanta BeltLine volunteers for the Inman Park Festival!

Are you a fan of the Atlanta BeltLine? Are you looking for a way to get out in Atlanta this summer and check out all that our local festivals have to offer? Combine the best of both worlds by volunteering at the BeltLine booth at the Inman Park Festival on April 25th and 26th! We’re still in need of a few more volunteers to help staff the official BeltLine booth during the world famous Inman Park Festival.

All you have to do is stand in the booth with somebody who works for the BeltLine (or, if you work for the BeltLine, stand there with two of us volunteers), wear a BeltLine t-shirt, and tell festival-goers about the project and answer questions. Easy enough! We also need help setting up and breaking down the booth.

  • What: Volunteer to help staff the BeltLine booth at the Inman Park Festival! Show your support and answer questions about the project.
  • When: Festival hours are from 11:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 25 and 11:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, April 26th. Our volunteer shifts are in two hour blocks starting just before and ending just after the festival.
  • Where: Inman Park, near the MARTA station on Edgewood. We’ll let you know where the BeltLine booth is going to be located within the festival!

Scroll down to the “staff BeltLine booth at festivals” where you can register for our volunteer management center (those of you that have volunteered before have probably already received emails from Sharron through the system, so you can use your email and password to log in). If you have any issues, just email me and let me know and I can help you out (jenny.p@mac.com).

We do ask that BeltLine volunteers attend a BeltLine 101 session to learn the basics of the BeltLine and to get the latest info on issues and developments.

And don’t forget that the BeltLine Clean-Up is coming up this Saturday, April 18th! See you out there!
