“Bridging to the Future” with Park Pride’s 10th Annual Parks and Greenspace Conference

On Monday, March 28, 2011, Atlanta’s own Park Pride will host their annual Parks and Greenspace Conference for the tenth year in a row. The event will take place at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. with the Home Depot Foundation as the presenting sponsor.

The luncheon keynote presentation by Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects (Charlottesville, VA) will cover “Working Landscapes: Urban and Rural Parkland Solutions from Around the Globe.” Hear how parks and greenspace will influence the future of our urban and rural spaces, including public health, economic growth and re-invigorating distressed communities.  Plus, a full day of speakers & presentations covering how parks & greenspaces are bridging to the future.
