Welcome! The purpose of this blog is to bring together information about all things green in Atlanta and Decatur. I realize this is a daunting task that others are also tackling (which is wonderful and I read their blogs) and that I will do my best to cover as much as I can (although it would be nice to have a staff like the Atlanta Intown Paper that has its own section, “Go Green Intown”).

A little about me:

My interests range widely from recycling to transportation to tree planting to volunteering and to generally moving towards a more sustainable lifestyle. Lately, my biggest interest has involved eating locally and sustainably (as evidenced by the large number of food and gardening posts). All of these tie back into the bigger picture of “environmental issues,” of which there happens to be an abundance of information spread out across many sources, not the least of which are the blast emails and newsletters I receive from groups. So this blog is an outlet for me to consolidate and share all of the information I come across (some of which seems to be harder to find on the internet). I welcome any thoughts, information, and events you would like to share!
