Come celebrate Halloween and autumn with the Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve’s 11th annual Harvest Festival! Located in medlock park, Decatur, GA, the celebration will take place Saturday, November 6th from 4 – 8 p.m.!

The new Mason Mill Park redevelopment plan breaks ground

This past Saturday, Mason Mill Park officially broke ground on the renovation master plans for our new park, including a bridge to connect the current PATH trail to Mason Mill Park via a bridge over the CSX railroad tracks.

Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve is having its monthly Volunteer Work Day this Sunday, March 7th, 2010 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Clyde Shepherd in Medlock Park, Decatur, is a lovely, hidden nature preserve with trails, a bamboo forest, learning centers, wetlands, bird-watching outposts, and more, and stays beautiful with the help of volunteer support!
